Jacklyn Fetbroyt

Of Counsel

Jacklyn Fetbroyt, of counsel, was a founding member of Kang Haggerty LLC. She handles both transactional and litigation matters in commercial law, with a focus on providing small to mid-size businesses with real world, practical advice while meeting their legal needs.

Jackie counsels companies and business owners through all stages of their ventures from start-up to dissolution, assisting them throughout with day-to-day legal guidance and risk management (often as outside general counsel), including business entity formation, partnership agreements, governance  counseling and compliance, and helping the business achieve its goals by drafting thoughtful contracts to govern the relationships of (while preventing disputes between) owners, contractors, employees, and strategic partners.

Her commercial real estate practice offers assistance with a wide range of transactional needs (including acquisitions, sales, leases, various construction contracts and vendor/supply agreements). With experience in representing both buyers and sellers, Jackie has a clear understanding of the issues that can impact a client acquiring real estate and real-estate related assets. She works with franchisees, small business owners and large corporations, providing each and every client with a high level of responsiveness to get the deal done in a diligent and efficient manner. This includes offering step-by- step advice to make closings as seamless as possible.

Jackie also represents her clients in their litigation matters: collaborating with in-house counsel, management and experts needed to facilitate her business clients' needs. Whenever  possible, she provides dispute resolution possibilities to quickly resolve an issue that allows her clients to get back to business. When complex commercial litigation is needed, Jackie handles cases that might include business owner disputes, breaches of fiduciary duties, contract disputes, enforcement of financial services arrangements, and other business torts, such as business fraud and wrongful interference with business relationships.

As a member of the National Association of Minority & Woman Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), Jackie  is an active member of the Transaction Practice Area Committee (PAC) and the Financial Services Litigation PAC, where she served as co-chair.

Jackie earned her J.D. at Rutgers Law School – Camden, and a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University. She is admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

A life-long New Jersey resident, Jackie was elected to the Voorhees Township Committee and began her government services in 2020. She resides in Voorhees with her husband and two sons.
